Looked after children

Past Paper Tuition was born by a care leaver Miss Rukayyah Yussuf. Miss Rukayyah came to the UK as a migrant at the age of 14, and she was placed to live with a foster family. Because of the language barrier, Miss Yussuf struggled with her studies and found it very challenging to keep up with her studies.

Past Paper Tuition provides tailored exam tips and revision techniques to support Looked After Children (LAC), migrants, re-takers, mature students, and anyone needing to catch up with their syllabus. Our mission is to help students achieve the best possible grades in the shortest time, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Can we use the Personal Education Allowance (PEA) for extra tuition?

Looked After Children (LAC) are entitled to a Personal Education Allowance (PEA), which is outlined in their statutory Personal Education Plan (PEP). The PEP should identify the child’s specific development needs and includes their input in the planning process.
